AtlasOS AI Chat
Older documentation framed AtlasOS AI primarily as a general-purpose chat surface. The current live product is better described as an AI Agents experience with guided prompts, per-agent reasoning, and structured outcomes.
Current product truth
The live module:
- lets you enter a custom prompt
- runs the selected agent against live practice context
- returns a structured summary and actions
- stores run history instead of maintaining a freeform conversational thread model in this module
Advisory prompts
The advisory agent is the closest current equivalent to a broader AI chat experience.
By default, it can run a South Africa-focused advisory briefing prompt covering:
- recent SARS changes
- upcoming statutory deadlines
- proactive tax planning opportunities
You can also replace that default with your own custom advisory question.
Best way to use it today
If you want open-ended guidance, select the Advisory agent and provide:
- a specific tax or planning question
- the scenario you want assessed
- any constraints or context you want the agent to consider
