When your firm type is set to Consulting Firm, AtlasOS relabels key platform concepts to match consulting industry conventions. This page documents every terminology mapping.

Sidebar Layout
The consulting sidebar is organised into the following groups:

Reading Other Documentation
Much of the platform documentation is written using standard AtlasOS terminology (the accounting vertical). When reading those pages:
- Where you see Projects, think Engagements
- Where you see Documents, think Deliverables
- Where you see Billing, think Revenue
- Where you see Compliance Calendar, this module is not active by default in your vertical
The underlying features are identical — only the labels differ.
